I. Shneyerova (harpsichord), D. Sokolov (cello-piccolo). BACH BY CANDLELIGHT This program consists of sonatas by JS and CPE Bach originally composed for harpsichord and violin or flute. The sound of cello-piccolo being so close to the sound of human voice gives to this music another color, sometimes more gentle, sometimes more deep. The program, in spite of the ‘diverse’ reaction of professional violin and flute players, somehow always meets a special acclaim of the audience and critics alike. |
